For Sarah conceived , and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

She conceived and bore a son to Abraham for his old age , at the time which God had appointed .

Finally , God opened Sarah's womb so she could bear Abraham a son in his old age , at the time appointed by God (Genesis 21: 2).

Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brothers;
